Program for promotion of entrepreneurial activity in mountainous regions
Those wishing to participate in programs/projects must submit applications only in Georgian.
Receiving applications in the program is suspended
The co-financing of the agency is granted only after the beneficiary confirms the full fulfillment of the objectives set by the program.

The purpose of the Program

  • The purpose of the program for promotion of entrepreneurial activity in mountainous regions is to support the development of private sector and creation of new jobs, stimulation of growth of young entrepreneurs and economic activities in mountainous regions through co-financing.
  • The aim of the program is the sustainable development of both agricultural and nonagricultural sectors in mountainous settlements and diversification of local economics.

The Program is being implemented by the Rural Development Agency.

The implementation of the program is coordinated by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia.

Program is being implemented in mountainous settlements of Georgia. (mountainous settlements are determined in accordance with the Resolution N 671 of the Government of Georgia from December 30, 2015 year on “Approval of the list of mountainous settlements”.
